Charles W. Basson was born in Galveston, Texas, July 13, 1846; died in Milton, Indiana, November 11, 1927. Age 81 years, 3 months, 28 days.
He was married to Adaline Klotz in 1874. He leaves his wife, Adeline, five sons, Willard, Charles and Walter of Connersville, Hoard and Leonard of Milton, two daughters, Mrs. Edna Bates and Mrs. Esther Rusche both of Richmond, four grandchildren, a brother Joseph of Richmond, and two sisters, Mrs. Nettie Symms and Mrs. Carrie Otton, both of Hamilton, Ohio.
Funeral services were held at the Wiseman Funeral Parlors, in Cambridge City, Sunday afternoon,m Rev. W.C. Watkins and Rev. F.C. McCormick officiating. Burial was made at Pershing.
