Douglas Alan Harris, age 60, passed away November 12, 2019, in San Antonio, Texas. He was born April 4, 1959, in Alameda, California.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Alvin Harris & Lana Faith Howell.
Doug is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Craig and Chantell Harris; his nephew, Curtis and his family-in-law that loved him; as well as his favorite companion, Bandit, his Labrador.
Doug worked his entire career as a sanitation worker for the East Bay Drainage. After he retired, he moved to San Antonio to be closer to his brother. He was a strong man of faith and never met a stranger. He believed in spreading love and used that phrase often. He is deeply missed.
