Obituary for Vernon Dean Studyvin
Vernon D. Studyvin, age 77, of Joplin, MO. passed away at 8:42 a.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2016. Vernon was born August 16, 1938 to Benton and Loveta (Kennedy) Studyvin in Joplin, Mo. Vernon was a graduate of Duenweg High School. Vernon was employed with Atlas Powder Company for twenty- five years.

Vernon married Mary Ryno on March 27, 1959 in Neosho, Mo and she survives. Additional survivors include three sons, Durran Studyvin and wife Ruby of Duenweg, Mo., Hoby Studyvin and wife Treasa of Duenweg, Mo., Ben Studyvin and wife Tracey of Joplin, Mo.; one daughter, Tamra Sparks and husband Jon of Neosho, Mo.; ten grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. Vernon was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Eileen Mitchell and Irene Davidson.

A Memorial Service will be Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the Mason-Woodard Chapel. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory of Joplin, MO.
