Edith W Love, age 93 of Maryville, passed peacefully in her sleep on Friday Nov. 22, 2019 at home.
Born in Rockford in 1926, she was predeceased by her parents; Benjamin Clair Ward and Ada Katherine Clabough, her brothers; Ray Donald Ward and Clyde Henry Ward, and her husbands; Grayson Jake Russell, Fern Stinnett and Hubert Clay Love Jr.
Edith is survived by her brother, Paul Edward Ward and her five children; Patricia Ann Russell, Gary Grayson Russell, Judy Lucille Wade and husband, Danny, and Susan Diane Smith, all of Maryville, and Barbara Jean Caro and husband, Luis, of Woodstock, GA; grandchildren; Michael Byrd, Cristina Caro, Anthony Caro, Heather Russell, Jenna Wade Bryant, and Alex Wade; great grandchildren; Logan Byrd, Daylen Byrd and Owen Bryant; step-son, H.C. "Bert" Love III; plus many nieces, nephews, Ward and Clabough cousins.
She was a long time member of Madison Ave Baptist Church and a 37 year member of Mary Blount Order of the Eastern Star #133.
Special thanks to Blount Memorial Hospice Nurses, CNAs and Volunteer, Kayla, for taking such good care of our mother.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, November 27th from 1-2pm with funeral services at 2pm and burial to follow at Sherwood Chapel.
