Mr. Jimmy Dale Pittman, 68, a resident of Union City, died Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Wednesday at the White-Ranson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Norman Adams officiating.

Burial will follow in the Sanders Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Tuesday at White-Ranson Funeral Home from 5 until 8 PM.

Pallbearers will be Butch Butler, Ryan Banks, Caleb Turner, Michael Cole, Bobby Barner, and Josh Wilson.

Mr. Pittman was born on September 13, 1951 to the late Allene Coley Pittman Edwards and the late James Andrew Pittman. He married Carolyn Pierce Pittman April 9, 1992, she survives.

Mr. Pittman worked and retired from the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company after 37 years. He was a United States Army veteran. He was a Baptist, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4862 and member Forrest Escort Company, North South Skirmish Association.

He is survived by a daughter Glenda ( Butch ) Butler of Union City, one step-daughter Tina
(Jeff ) Pittman Wilson of Gainesville, FL., four grandchildren; Bethany ( Kaleb ) Turner, Laykon (Ryan ) Banks, Josh (Farrah) Wilson, Claire Wilson; five great-grandchildren, Nevaeh Banks, Kaydence Banks, Cambri Banks, Tatum Turner, and Taylor Turner' a sister, Susan (Donnie) Ams of Union City; a niece and a nephew; and a brother-in-law, Billy Pierce of Union City.
