John Boreman, s. of Samuel Boreman and Mary Betts, b. of record at Wethersfield, Conn. June 12, 1653 d. intestate prior to Feb. 27, 1676/7 when both he and his brother Joseph's combined estates were probated at the Hartford, Conn. Probate District. Both John and Joseph's estates were distributed to thetr surving siblings. It is believed they both died as combatants from Conn. in the King Philip's War:
