Edwin H. Rickenbach, 70, of Mechanicsburg, PA and Lewes, DE, peacefully passed away at home Tuesday, November 19, 2019. He was born on June 30, 1949, in Carlisle, PA to the late Edwin W. Rickenbach and Alice Jean (Baer) Rickenbach, of Enola. He celebrated 52 years of marriage with Patricia A. (Gill) Rickenbach, both 1967 graduates of East Pennsboro High School. Ed was retired from Exel Logistics, a lifetime member of American Legion Post 751, and Enola Sportsman's Club. He was an avid hunter and fisherman (fresh and saltwater) who also biked countless hours on the Delaware coast. He made friends everywhere he went. In addition to his wife and mother, Ed is survived by his daughter Jennifer Gorberg, brother Gary L. Rickenbach (Jamie), and sister-in-law Joan Rickenbach, grandchildren Nicole and Isaac, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Allen Rickenbach. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 am on Friday, November 29, 2019 at Zion Lutheran Church, where the funeral service will immediately follow.
