Brenda Shook Bowman, 71, of Hickory passed away on Friday, November 22, 2019 at her residence.
She was born September 29, 1948 in Catawba County to the late William Shook and Mildred Cheek O’Shields.
Brenda enjoyed reading and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Hugh Bowman.

A service to celebrate Brenda’s life will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Bennett Funeral Service in Newton. Rev. Allen McCoy will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Warlicks Baptist Church in Connelly Springs. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 from 11:45 to 12:45 p.m. at Bennett Funeral Service in Newton.
