Monica Ann Sims died at Wishard Memorial Hospital on Thursday, January 27, 2011, after a long battle with breast cancer. Her family was by her side. She leaves her daughter, Monique D. Sims; parents, Russell C. and Doris L. Brooks-Sims; brother, Russell D Sims; sisters, Karla J. White, Dianne L. Southern, and Lynette D. Thompson. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and a host of good and faithful friends that were there for her to the end. Arrangements entrusted to Crown Hill Funeral Home.
