Mary Ellen Crews, 77, of Pensacola, Florida passed away on Friday November 22, 2019. Mary was born September 19, 1942 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
She married Joseph Crews in Portsmouth, VA on September 20, 1975. She got her AA degree at Pensacola Junior College and retired as HMC E-7 from the United States Navy after proudly serving for 21 years. She is a member of the American Legion and a parishioner of Little Flower Catholic Church.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, John Lawrence Kenney and Muriel Helen Kenney. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Joseph A. Crews; brothers, Daniel Patrick Kenney and John Joseph Kenney; sister Barbara Ann Raynor (Kenney); stepson, Joe Lynn Crews; nieces, Liane Marie Kenney and Mari Elizabeth Kenney; and nephew Dustin Logan Spray.
A visitation will be held at West Pensacola Baptist Church on Wednesday, November 27 at 9:30 am and will be followed by the funeral service at 10:30 am. A graveside service with full military honors will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery at 12:00 pm.
