A native of Lamasco, she was born Sept. 12, 1924, daughter of the late Daniel "DB" Boone and Hattie Louise Hall Gray.
She worked at SH Kress as a sales supervisor for 33 years. She previously worked at Joiner Hardware.
Preceding her in death were her first husband, Orbie Hopson Stone; her second husband, Edison Sauteben; her brother, Daniel Preston Gray; four sisters, Minnie Emalene Coleman, Bonnie Louise Metcalfe, Lillie Frances Gray, in infancy, and Jessie Irene Gray; and her grandson.
Survivors include her son; Orbie Eugene "Gene" Stone, Wylie, Texas; her daughter, Janice Elaine (William "Bill") Sholar; her sister Mamie Lurlene Burkhart, Hixson, Tennessee; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
