Mr. Harden, 66, of Charlotte, was born in Charleston, SC. He passed away March 29, 2006 at Presbyterian Hospital, Main. He had retired after being a cook for 47 years. He was a graduate of West Charlotte High School and was a member of University Park Baptist Church.
Funeral service is 12:00 noon Monday, April 3, at University Park Baptist Church, 6029 Beatties Ford Road, Charlotte, NC, with Reverend Dr. Claude Alexander officiating. Interment in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Charlotte. The family will receive friends beginning at 11:30 AM Monday, at the church.
Survivors include wife, Mary Harden; sons, David T. Harden and Darren Harden (Monica); daughters, Andrea Lindsey, Ashley Reid (Kevin) and Angela Walker (Prince); nine grandchildren; father, James Harden; sister, Ida Harden; brother, Walter Harden (Evelyn).
The Harden family would like to extend their gratitude for services provided by RAI University, and to the physicians and staff at Southeast Renal Associates.
Long & Son Mortuary Service is serving the Harden family.
