Andy Burke of Hayward, California, son of Candace Ladd of Edwardsville, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday morning after a short illness.
Andy was born in Hartford, Connecticut. The family moved to California in 1976 where Andy continued to reside. He attended San Jose State University. Andy worked as a Special Project Coordinator at Google and, recently, as a Project Administrator with Johnson Controls on the new Stanford Children’s Hospital project.
Andy is survived by his two sons, Ryan Edward Burke, age 19, and Evan Joseph Burke, 16, both of Fairfield, California and by his brother, James E. Burke, James’ wife Karen and their daughter, Morgan, 16 of Los Gatos, California. He is also survived by his mother, Candace Ladd of Edwardsville, Illinois and his father, James G, Burke of Aptos, California.
Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation on Sunday November 24, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. in Campbell, California. Andy will be buried along-side his grandparents, the Earl E. Ladd family and his great-grandparents, the Edward H. Ladd and V.P. Joseph families at Valley View Cemetery in Edwardsville, Illinois.
