First Argentine and South American Female Physician. Born to a Scottish ancestors family, she devoted her life to teaching and was a pioneer of the first aids, she founded in 1892 the Argentine Association of First Aids. In the same year she participated in the first Cesarean operation performed in Argentina. Also founded the National Obstetrics Association. She wrote the book "Masaje Práctico." She is considerated one of the first feminists of Latin America.
