Leah Marlow Wilson, 52 years of age, of Nancy, Kentucky, departed this life on Friday, November 22, 2019 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center following a courageous battle with breast cancer.
Leah was born in Somerset, Kentucky on March 31st, 1967, daughter of Tina Johnson and the late Samuel David Marlow, Jr.. Leah was a homemaker and attended Bradley's Pleasure Baptist Church. She loved to read, ride motorcycles and enjoyed being at the lake. Most of all she loved and cherished time with her family.
Leah was survived by one son, Jayce (and Whitney) Shepperd; one daughter, Stephanie (and Christopher) Mink; her mother and step-father, Tina and Oliver "J.R." Johnson; one sister, Susan Marlow; two special nephews, Nash Wright and Mitchell Lee Marlow; one great-nephew, Braxton Wright; and a host of other family and friends who mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her father, Samuel David Marlow Jr.; and one brother, Mitchell Marlow, who departed this life on June 29th, 2018.
Visitations were held from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26th, 2019 at the Bradley's Pleasure Baptist Church with the Southern Oaks Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26th, 2019 at the Bradley's Pleasure Baptist Church with Bro. Rick Stump officiating.
Burial followed in the Bradley's Pleasure Cemetery in Nancy, Kentucky.
