Charles Edward (Pete) Hogan, Sr., 86, of Blue Ridge, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2019. He was preceded in death by his wife, Florence Akers Hogan; daughter, Susan Hogan Davis; son, Charles Edward (Eddie) Hogan, Jr.; and his parents, Roy and Callie Hogan.
Charles is survived by two granddaughters, Heather Hogan (Duane Rigby) and Melissa Tolbert (Stephen Tolbert); five great grandchildren, Kayla, Taylor, Keanna, Kamdyn, Connor; daughter-in-law, Robin Hogan; son-in-law, Bruce Davis; and numerous other family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 1, 2019 at Oakey’s East Chapel with Pastor Marvin Wegner officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00PM till service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Missions Fund at Colonial Baptist Church.
