TURKEY CREEK - Funeral services for Mr. Sidney "Dale" Johnson, 80, will be held at 11AM Friday November 22, 2019 in the LaVille Funeral Home, with burial to follow in the Addison Johnson Cemetery. Rev. Brian Dore' will officiate funeral services.
Mr. Johnson, a resident of Turkey Creek, passed away Tuesday November 19, 2019 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria.
He will be deeply missed by his loving family, sons Gordon Johnson of Mamou, Chad Johnson of Mamou; daughter Holly Briscoe and husband Chad of Pine Prairie; brother Richard Johnson of Canyon Lake, TX; 5 grandchildren Phillip Cavins, Chase Briscoe, Taylor Johnson, Kylie Doucet, Leslee Picou; 3 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph Sidney and Effie Deville Johnson, wife Beverly Ann Johnson, grandson Corey Cavins, and sister Faye Johnson.
Visitation will be held at LaVille Funeral Home beginning Thursday November 22, 2019 from 1PM-10PM, and will resume again Friday at 8AM until the time of services.
