M. Bryce Barron, age 26, a resident of Madera, California passed away November 19, 2019, in Madera, from injuries sustained in a car accident. He was born June 3, 1993, in Fresno, CA, to Erica Applewhite. Bryce worked as a Chef at the Tenaya Lodge.
Bryce loved spending time with his family and friends, and especially enjoyed making them laugh. His pastimes included traveling and spending time in nature, and other activities promoting Zen.
He is survived by his mother Erica Applewhite; brother Brandon Granado and his wife Christine; two sisters: Brittiney Cisneros-Kulina and her husband Michael Kulina, Breanna Barron; one nephew Malachi and three nieces: Kaliey, Kyra and Leah.
Funeral service will be held Friday, December 6, 2019 – 10:00 AM at Faith Tabernacle Church, 745 North "H" St., Madera, CA, with graveside services immediately following in Arbor Vitae Cemetery, Madera, CA. Arrangements are in the care of Jay Chapel.

SUGAR PINE – One person was killed and another injured in a two-vehicle collision this morning on Highway 41. The driver – and solo occupant – of the second vehicle was not injured.
At 7:43 a.m., the California Highway Patrol received a call of a vehicle off the road following the crash. A 26-year-old male from Fish Camp was driving a Subaru southbound when he lost control. The Subaru drifted to the shoulder and abruptly veered back across the southbound lane, striking the front of a vehicle in the northbound lane.
According to CHP the northbound vehicle was a Nissan, driven by a 40-year-old Seattle woman. She was not treated for any physical injuries at the scene.
Following the collision with the Nissan, the Subaru rolled over, striking a large tree.
The passenger in the Subaru, 26-year-old Michael Bryce Barron from Fresno, was pronounced deceased at the scene. His family has been notified.
