Jimmie J. Young, 76, passed November 18, 2019 at his home in Henderson.

Jimmie retired from Bristol Myers Squibb where he worked in Pharmaceutical Production. Jimmie was a veteran. He was an active member in the Sterling Men's Club and the Otis Stone Post #354 of the American Legion.

He leaves to mourn his loss his children, Demetrick Jerome Young of Buffalo, NY, Laketta Yvonne Young of Atlanta; sister, Eunice Young; brother, Charlie Young (DeLois); Fiance', Vicki Brooks Scott; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Many thanks to the medical staff at Deaconess Midtown, Methodist Hospital, Encompass Home Care, and St. Anthony's Hospice.

Services are 1:00 p.m. Saturday November 23, 2019 at Greater Norris Chapel in Henderson with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until service. Burial on Monday at the West KY Veterans Cemetery, Hopkinsville. Mason Brothers Audubon Chapel is entrusted with arrangements.
