Born Aug. 26, 1968 in Spangler, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Carol Ann Olenchick of North Carolina and the late Bernard Stanley Olenchick.
Paula was a member of the Roman Catholic Parish of St. James the Greater.
She was the owner and operator of Cape Cod Formals in Charles Town, WV.
Paula was a loving and dedicated mother to Michael, Melissa and Matthew, and was devoted to the memory and legacy of her late husband, Mike, whom she deeply missed. She lived her Catholic faith such that her life exemplified her love for Christ, even if words were not shared. Though small in stature, it is what made her influence so great in our community and at St. James, and proved her a champion for her children.
In addition to her mother, Carol, she is survived by three children, Michael, Jr., Melissa and Matthew Grant, all of Harpers Ferry; two sisters, Annette Olenchick and Jannette Olenchick of Charleston; stepmother, Sue Olenchick of Pennsylvania; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Michael Anthony Grant, Sr. in 2012 and her father, Bernard S. Olenchick.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 18, 2019 at St. James Catholic Church, 49 Crosswinds Drive, Charles Town, WV. Interment will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery in Harpers Ferry, WV.
