Jimmie Lou Jackson Logan, 94, a homemaker, died Monday, November 18, 2019 at MS Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.
Visitation is 11:00 am until 1:00 pm Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Wilcox Funeral Home. Services are 1:00 pm Saturday, November 23, 2019 at the Wilcox Chapel with Rev. Chris Thore and Rev. Joe Barber officiating. Interment will follow in Renfroe Cemetery. Wilcox Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Ms Jimmie Lou was a life-long resident of Leake County and member of Renfroe Baptist Church. She was also a member of the 50 Plus Club and the Women's Aux. VFW.
Preceding her in death were: her first husband and father of her children, Dotie Jackson; her second husband, Lamar Graham; 2 sons, Jerry Jackson and Terry Jackson.
Survivors include: her husband, Dr. W. D. Logan of Carthage; daughters, Wanda Johnston (Rance) of Carthage and Linda Kaye Wilcox (Sonny) of Carthage; a sister, Rose Brister of Jackson; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are: Stan Johnston, Mike Johnston, Dr. Dotie Jackson, Jeff Jackson, Jason Wilcox, Will Lawson Harkins, and Brooks Hamilton.
Honorary pallbearers are her great-grandsons.
