We respectfully announce the passing of Mrs. Carrie L. Thompson, age 66 of Newnan, Georgia at her residence on Thursday, June 9, 2016.
Carrie Lou McGhee-Thompson was born May 25, 1950 in Warm Springs, Georgia, to the late Robert Lewis Parks and Jonnie Ruth McFarlin.
She dedicated her life to her family and worshiping the Lord.
She loved studying the Bible and spreading the Gospel to all those around her. She had a passion to bring people closer to God.
She was preceded in death by her two brothers: Joe Lewis Parks and Willie C. McGhee-Parks; one sister: Louvonia McGhee; and her grandmother: Carrie Holt.
