William H. Kirk, "Bill," age 97 of Maysville, KY, formerly Huber Heights, OH passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2019. He was born February 4, 1922 in Phelps, Kentucky, the son of the late John and Mary Kirk.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Kirk; grandson, Jamie Blake; and sister, Helen Schleyer.

Bill is survived by his children, Jan Blake, Tom (Mary) Kirk, Stan (Sharon) Kirk, James (Ramona) Kirk, Mindy Anderson, Jon (Melissa) Kirk, Sandie Wunderlich; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Bill was a proud 23-year veteran of the United States Air Force and served his country in the Pacific in WWII. He was also a lifelong member of MENSA. Additionally, Bill was an ordained Baptist minister and was a Toastmaster.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25, 2019 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at Newcomer North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424). Funeral service will begin at 1:30 pm. Burial will follow in New Carlisle Cemetery with military honors.
