Casey Marie Riley (Court) age 41, of Adrian, MI, passed away November 20, 2019, at the Hospice of Lenawee after a courageous seven year battle with brain cancer. Casey was born June 29, 1978, in Morenci, MI, where she grew up and and attended the local schools. On June 26, 2010, she married John Riley in Holland, MI, where she was the assistant manager of the Wal-Mart Store. She loved animals having two dogs, three cats, and two guinea pigs. She worked at the Humane Shelter , played little league baseball and loved to travel. Casey was a dedicated Christian, once asking a surgeon if she could read her Bible in the operating room. She appreciated the ministry of the Bethany Church. Casey is survived by her husband; John Riley, step-son; Gabriel, parents; George & Marlene Court, grandparents; Ross & Ruth Double and Claire & Georgiaan Court (deceased), her in-laws; John & Nancy Riley of Campobello, SC and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, November 23, 2019, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI with Chaplain Gail Blum. Visitation will also be on Saturday from 1:00 PM until the time of service at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, MI.
