With profound sadness we announce the passing of Robert Crook our loving and devoted husband and father. Robert left us on November 16, 2019 while in hospice care at Banner Boswell hospital. Born in Attleboro, Massachusetts in 1943. He was raised in Alabama during WWII and was the son of a Navy officer. Following his father’s devotion to duty, he enlisted in the United States Navy in 1960. Robert served over 8 years in the submarine service and another 4 years in the Navy reserves. He attended the University of New Mexico where he met his wife who was serving in the United States Air Force. Robert was married for 50 years and had two wonderful sons. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Sr and mother, Clarice. Robert lived a full life as a wonderful husband, father and worked until retirement. Robert worked for many years at Los Alamos Scientific Laboratories and then moved to Arizona and retired from Palo Verde Nuclear Plant.
Robert was particularly concerned about our veterans and animals. He was an active contributor to wounded warriors and the humane society. Robert loved to celebrate life outside in the wilderness and many of our fond memories will be taking those camping trips. Most of all Robert loved his family and instilled in his son’s strong values that have served them well. Robert will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

A celebration of Bob’s life will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at the National Cemetery 23029 Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, Arizona beginning at 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers donations would be appreciated to the Wounded Warrior Project, https://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/
