OBITUARY: Joyce L. “Nanny Joy” Gossett, age 71 of Albertville, AL and formerly of Gadsden, AL, died Sunday, November 17, 2019. Visitation will be held at Collier-Butler Funeral Home Saturday, December 7 from 12-2 PM followed by the funeral service at 2 PM. Graveside service will be held at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery.
Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Gossett; her parents, Bertha and Frank Martin; and her brothers, Stotts and Richard Martin. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews, and other family members and friends.
Joyce loved her family and always cared for her nieces and nephews as if they were her own children. She enjoyed various crafts and her time in church. Joyce admired her church families and cherished her Lord and Savior above all.
Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Martin, Mitchell Fitts, Blake Pruitt, River Monterosso, and Jacob Holmes.
