Funeral services for Kathye Phillips, 58, of Ruston, LA will be held Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at 10:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 205 West Woodhaven Road, Ruston, LA . Bishop Brian Stucki will officiate. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery under the directions of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston.
Kathye was born December 2, 1960, and passed away Sunday, November 17, 2019. Kathye was a Registered Nurse and had a Master’s Degree in counseling. She was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Kathye was married to Parke Phillips on March 8, 1986 and their marriage was sealed in the Manti Utah Temple on September 24, 2005.
Kathye was preceded in death by her parents and husband Parke Phillips. She is survived by her daughter, Kira Gibbs and husband Jeff of Ruston, granddaughter Autumn Gibbs, four siblings and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Pallbearer: Dennis Akin, Ronald Breeland, Ross Moore, Hart Hintze, McKay Hintze, and Curtis Hawkins.
