Marjorie Lou (Applegate) O'Neal, 84, of North Platte, passed away June 12, 2015 at Indian Hills Healthcare Community in Ogallala. Marjorie was born August 24, 1930 to Lloyd and Estella (Garner) Applegate. Most of her life she lived on a farm north of North Platte, NE. Marj graduated from Campion Academy in Loveland, CO in 1949. Marj was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. She loved Our Lord and amongst her missions were orphanages, the homeless, children and disaster relief such as ADR. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Dale; and her husband, Melvin "Jack" O'Neal. She is survived by a nephew, Stephen; two nieces, Sue and Sherry Applegate all of CA; and other family and friends. Online condolences may be shared at www.carpentermemorial.com.
