"Mrs. Eli Clemens, 79, West Virginia, sister of Miss Susie Albert, Kitchener, died yesterday at Grace Hospital, Welch, West Virginia, after an illness of two months. Surviving, besides her sister, is one son, Prof. Winston Clemens, of College Park, Maryland, Va.; two grandsons and a number of nephews and nieces in this district. The body is resting at the Douglas Funeral Home, Welch, West Virginia where the funeral service will be held Monday. Interment will be at the Woodlawn Cemetery, Bluefield, West Virginia."

"Mrs. Anna I. Clemens, Monday, at 2 p.m., funeral services will be conducted from the Gary Methodist Church for Mrs. Anna Isabel Clemens, 75. Mrs. Clemens was born in Ontario, Canada. She had been a resident at Gary for many years. She was a widow of the late Eli Clemens who predeceased her in death in 1941. He was an official of the U. S. Steel Co., at Gary, before his death. The only surviving child is Eli Winston Clemens of College Park, Md. A sister, Miss Susie Albert, of Ontario, also survives. The remains will be taken to the chapel of the Douglas Mortuary at 1 p.m. tomorrow. The Rev. R. J. Matheny will officiate at the services. Burial will follow in the Woodland Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Frank Watson, Jason Riggins, William Hagg, Jack Watson, Martin Hayduk, Paul Duncan, Andrew Sironco, and E. Conner."
