"Word was received today of the death of Eli Clemens, 64, at Gary, West Virginia. Mr Clemens was formerly of Kitchener. He was born in the city but left about 40 years ago.His death followed a lengthly illness. Surviving are his wife Anna Albert of Kitchener, one son Winston of Lafayette, La., four brothers, Mahlon of Kitchener, Walter of Sarnia, Emanuel of East Orange, New Jersey and one sister, Miss Sarah Clemens, Kitchener".
