Jason Rodney Payne, 49, entered into rest on Friday, November 15, 2019. Born in Biloxi, Mississippi, Jason was the son of Rodney Payne and the late Beverly Jane Culpepper. At a young age, he competed in the Little Olympics and won by doing the most chin-ups. In 1988, Jason graduated from Warner Robins High School and earned his Associate’s Degree before working at Houston Medical Center as a Paramedic. In his free time, he enjoyed deer hunting, bass fishing, and four wheeling. Jason also enjoyed air-brush art. He loved his family and his memory will be cherished by his family and friends.
In addition to his mother, Jason was preceded in death by his step-father, Olin “Pepper” Culpepper; brother, Rodney Payne, Jr.
He is survived by his father, Rodney Payne (Lois) of Biloxi, Mississippi; siblings, Gregory L. Payne (Rhoda) of Bonaire; Chadwin D. Payne (Victoria) of Yatesville; Andrew L. Payne and Jared Payne, both of Dallas, Texas; Joey Culpepper of Pensacola, Florida; and Natasha Culpepper of Red Level, Alabama.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 19, 2019, from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home with a memorial service immediately following at 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.
McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with these arrangements.
