Charles A. Bright Dies of Heart Attack
Charles A. Bright, 69, of 106 Thirty-Seventh Ave. N., died of a heart ailment last night in Baptist Hospital. Funeral arrangements
for Mr. Bright, retired employee of Victor Chemical Corp. were
incomplete last night. He had been a patient at Baptist Hospital for
three weeks prior to his death there but had been in poor health for five years.
Born in Gallatin, he moved to Nashville with his family while a
child and attended Cockrill School in West Nashville. He and his wife,
Mrs. Lorena Baker Bright, would have celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary Dec. 24. He was a member of Park Avenue Baptist Church.
Survivors are his widow, a daughter, Mrs. Carl Berlin; a son, John T. Bright, and six grandchildren, all of Nashville.
The body is at Pettus-Owen & Wood funeral home, 4506 Charlotte Ave.
