Jean Ann Phillips, who resided in Charleston, died Sunday, November 17, 2019, at her home. She was born May 6, 1941 in West Virginia. She was 78 years old. She was preceded in death by her step-father and mother, James Hevee and Pearl (Cannaday) Hevee.
Jean was a retired service worker for Valley Transportation Authority in San Jose, California. She was affiliated with the Assembly of God Church in Roseville.
She is survived by her children, Danna Silva of Charleston, Melissa Burhle of Kansas, Derek Phillips of North Carolina, Joel Phillips and wife Cynthia of Kansas, Jimmy Phillips of Montana, and Michael Phillips of Arizona; a brother, Jack Wyatt of Nevada; eighteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
There is not a service scheduled at this time. A family held memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
