Kenneth “Ken” Robert Brewer Sr. Age 66, of Rice Lake, WI died Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at the Marshfield Medical Center in Eau Claire, WI. He was born on June 22, 1953 in Springfield, Ohio to Darwin and Rita (Kain) Brewer. Ken graduated from the Chetek High School and then entered the United States Air Force, served in the Vietnam Era and was Honorably Discharged. He was married to Michelle “Mickey” White Mitchell and later they were divorced. Ken was a sound engineer for many years in the Nielsen White Band. He enjoyed music, fantasy football, was a collector of many things and enjoyed making people laugh. He is survived by a son, Kenneth “Kenny” Brewer Jr. (Fiancee, Tanya Tuttle) of Hayward, WI; a daughter, Thea (Jason) Seymour of Green Bay, WI; 6 grandchildren, Ember, Kenneth “Tripp” III and Hayden Brewer, Jameson, Jonathan and Elizabeth Seymour; a brother, Andy (Debbie) Brewer of Colorado; 2 sisters, Elizabeth (Bill) Estes of Colorado and Cynthia Hanson of El Paso, Texas; and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, Darwin and Rita Brewer. A celebration of his life will be held at 4-6PM Saturday, November 30, 2019 at the Rice Lake Veteran Center. Graveside services will be held at Noon, Monday, December 2, 2019 at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner, WI, with Military Rites accorded him by the Rice Lake Veteran Honor Guard. Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake is in charge of the arrangements.
