GARY'S OBITUARY
Gary Lynn Howell Sr., 66, of Vivian, LA passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Gorsulowsky Funeral Home Chapel in Vivian, LA. Burial will follow at Vivian Cemetery. There will be a time of visitation from 6-8 pm on Wednesday the 20th at the funeral home.

Gary was born January 22, 1953 in Vivian where he lived all of his life. He worked as a pipe fitter and welder for 40 years. He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting and fishing. On a cold clear November morning there was no place he’d rather be than in the duck blind. He enjoyed all sports, and in his younger days played football and basketball, he enjoyed tennis and golf, and loved to go skiing, and he coached baseball when Gary Lynn was playing. But the most important thing that Gary did was on November 11, 2019 he was saved and baptized into the family of God.

Preceding Gary in death where his father Louis Howell, his mother Marion Culpepper, and his step father Richard Culpepper. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Sue Howell of Vivian, LA, his son Gary Lynn Howell Jr. and wife Jessica of Vivian, LA, his sister Betty Crain and husband Floyd of Bossier City, LA, his brother Louis Howell and wife Stephanie of Monroe, LA, his grandchildren, Riley and Emi Howell, and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Gary Lynn Howell Jr, Quade Hale, Brett Lucas, Tony Hale, Trey Luccous, and Terry Skaggs. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. John Haynes, Edward Luccous, Floyd Crain, Rand Shelton, Wren Terry, Mike Parker, Louis Howell, and Rick McMillan.
