COLUMBUS — Tommie Lee, 77, died Nov. 8, 2019. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Providence M.B. Church. Burial will follow at Stallion Cemetery. Visitation is from noon-6 p.m. Friday at Lee-Sykes Funeral Home. Lee-Sykes Funeral Home of Columbus is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Lee was born June 8, 1942, to the late Levi and Ella Wee Lee. He was formerly employed with Johnston-Tombigbee and was a member of Providence M.B. Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Sammie Lee and Robert E. Lee; sister, Mattie Green; and one grandchild. He is survived by his daughters, Dorothy Montgomery, Donita Sherrod and Dionne Sturdivant, all of Columbus; sons, Tony Dunn of Chicago, Illinois, and Bobby Taylor of Columbus; sisters, Carrie Cook of Cleveland, Ohio, Queen E. Stewart of Columbus, Alma Lee of Sandusky, Ohio, and Doretha Irions of Hampton, Georgia; brothers, Cleveland Lee of Cleveland, Ohio, Eugene Poindexter, Walter James Lee, Joe Edward Lee, Sandy Lee, Carzell Lee and Nathaniel Lee, all of Columbus; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
