After graduating with a psychology degree from Northeastern University, he decided to pursue his passion in entertainment and enrolled in a clown college with Ringling Brothers. He enjoyed many years traveling with an acting troupe. Eventually, he found his way to real estate and had been a longtime agent with Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty in Chicago. He was predeceased by his father Alan Beckman. He is survived by his mother Rose Marie Beckman, nee Federighi, his daughter Marie Tyndall, and his grandson Jackson Tyndall.
