Known to all as Sue, she was born Julia Ann Sullivan on July 10, 1935, in Hanover, PA. She grew up in Warren, Ohio, and graduated from Warren G. Harding High School, where she met her husband, Nort Stuart, whom she married after they both graduated from University of Michigan. She was trained as a dental hygienist and was proud to have worked at the King Kamehameha School while she and Nort lived in Honolulu. Later living in Athens and Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX; Chicago, IL; and Frankfurt, Germany before returning to Dallas, she made many lifelong friends and raised three sons. When faced with an empty nest, she became a real estate agent in Dallas and found special joy in helping first-time home buyers. She loved researching genealogy, was a member of the DAR, and was also active in Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. She volunteered weekly at Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. Her foremost joy in life, however, was serving her risen Savior. She was a longtime member of Highland Park Presbyterian Church, and then Park Cities Presbyterian Chur-ch, where she was a faithful volunteer in Urban Ministries. It was her heartfelt wish that all she came in contact with would experience His overwhelming love and saving grace. She met her terminal diagnosis with dignity and grace and prayed that all manner of good would come from it. Although her friends and family are extremely saddened to be separated from her, there is a certain degree of joy as well, as she was confident in Whom she had placed her trust. Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Helene Sullivan, and her parents-in-law, Norton and Olga Stuart, all of Warren, Ohio. She is survived by her loving husband, Nort Stuart, Jr.; Tripp, Chaney, Campbell, Harrison and Jennings Stuart of San Antonio; Doug, Katie, Meghan and Meredith Stuart of Charlotte, NC; and Mark, Kelly, and Avery Stuart of Long-view. Sue's life will be celebrated at a memorial service to be held at 3:30 pm, Friday, May 20, at Park Cities Presbyterian Church, 4124 Oak Lawn, Dallas, TX 75219. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to Urban Ministries, Park Cities Presbyterian Church.
