Daughter of the late Joseph Van Dyne and Elsie Brooks Van Dyne. She was a Beallsville High School graduate, was retired from the U.S. Postal Service and former owner & operator of Captains Lounge and the Frosty Treat all in Powhatan Point. She was a member of the Armstrongs Mills United Methodist Church; the American Legion Auxiliary Saner Post 228 and Powhatan VFW Auxiliary Post 5565. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kay N. Ramsey; a sister, Nada Albus; a brother, Bob Van Dyne and her mother-in-law, Edna Ramsey. Surviving are her three children, Alan “Skip” Ramsey and Kiz (Dan) Rush both of Powhatan Point and Tyler (Kim) Ramsey of Virginia Beach, VA; a brother, Eugene (Patty) VanDyne of Beallsville; a sister-in-law, Lola VanDyne of New Castle, OH; four grandchildren, Jacob, Zoe, Joshua and Katie;
