ROBIN MARIE WILCOX STONE, 52 of Rowlesburg, WV died Thursday, July 17, 2014, at her home.
Robin was born on January 20, 1962, in Riverdale, MD, raised in Edgewater and Chesapeake Beach, MD, a daughter of Louise Lloyd Wilcox Chestlo, of Chesapeake Beach, MD and the late Edward Guy Wilcox.
Robin is known for her beaming smile, beautiful red hair and was always the life of the party. She loved to be around the water and enjoyed many days on the beach listening to her favorite song, Freebird. She loved gardening and loved her many flowers that decorated her home, however she found greater joy in caring for and spending time with her grandson, Tristan.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her two sons, Steven Lee Stone and Joshua Wayne Berkley, both of Morgantown; her daughter, Nichole Lynn Stone of Oakland, MD; two brothers, Robert Wayne Wilcox and Edward Guy Wilcox, Jr., both of Chesapeake Beach, MD; a very special grandson, Tristan Cole Berkley, niece, Kristina Marie Wilcox, nephew, Edward Guy Wilcox, III, niece, Amberleigh Wilcox and two very special friends, Beth and Howard Noss, of Kingwood, WV.
Robin was preceded in death by her stepfather, Thomas M. Chestlo and her aunt, Hazel Fleshman.
A Memorial Service and Dinner for family and friends will be held at the American Legion Post 206, 3330 East Chesapeake Beach Rd., Rt. 260, Chesapeake Beach, MD 20732 on Saturday, August 9, 2014 from 2:00 - 5:00pm.
