Pendleton-Sarah Ellen Lieblein, 80, of Pendleton, died Friday, March 23, 2001, at St. Anthony Hospital.
There will be no funeral service. Disposition is to be by cremation with inturnment at the Helix Cemetery.
Mrs. Lieblein was born Oct. 2, 1920, at Helix, to Elmer and Jennie Walden Dale. She grew up in Helix and on April 15, 1942, married Sigurd Lieblein at Lewiston, Idaho. They moved to Hawaii where they lived until Mr. Lieblein's retirement in 1980. They returned to Oregon and made their home at Johnson City. After Mr. Lieblein's death in 1995, she moved to Pendleton.
She was a member of the North Portland Eagles Aerie 3426.
Survivors include sisters, Gladys Helfer of Walla Walla, and Violet Mitchel of Weaton. Brothers, Ralph Grover and Glen Grover also preceded her in death.
Burns Mortuary of Pendleton is in charge of arrangements.
