Bishop Jimmie Lee Hicks, age 61, a resident of Mobile, Alabama, was born July 31, 1956 to the late Leonard Hicks and the late Dorothy Mae Henderson Hicks. He passed away on December 21, 2017 at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center in Mobile, Alabama.

Bishop Hicks retired as a Mental Health Worker with Searcy Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Alabama. He was a member of Malcolm Church of God Pentecostal, Malcolm, AL and was ordained as a bishop at Emmanuel Prophecy World-Wide Ministries, Pensacola, Florida. He later returned to serve at Malcolm Church of God Pentecostal.

His hobbies included singing, and one of his favorite songs was "He Looked Beyond My Faults And Saw My Needs."

He is survived by: his wife; two sons; two daughters; two sisters; seven brothers; eight grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Viewing will be on Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 11:00 AM until the 1:00 PM funeral Service begin at Church of God Pentecostal, 5260 Highway 43, McIntosh, Alabama, Bishop Bobby Powe, pastor and presiding Bishop Johnnie Booker, eulogist. Interment to follow at Vaughn Cemetery, McIntosh, Alabama. Arrangements by Andrews Funeral Home, 800 Depot Road, Jackson, Alabama.
