Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Thomas C. and Willie Mae Cook Snyder.
She was retired from Riegel Textile Mill and was a member of Woodfields Baptist Church and The Order of the Eastern Star.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mildred was preceded in death by a son, Daniel F. Pruitt; sister, Evelyn Ledford and brothers, Leland Snyder and Tommy Snyder.
Mildred is survived by a son, John C. Pruitt (Jackie) of Greenwood; daughter-in-law, Jean Pruitt of North Carolina; brothers, Ben Snyder (Patsy) of Ware Shoals and Fred Snyder (Joyce) of Murrells Inlet; and grandchildren, Jay Pruitt (April), James Harris (Tammy) and Crystal Martin (Brian).
Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
