Mamie was born August 21, 1933, near Indian Creek, Texas to Samuel Bryant Shaw and Cressie Mae Berry Shaw. She was a 1950 graduate of Carlton High School. Mamie met Preston Fuller Wisely when they both worked for Lockheed Martin and were bowling in a company bowling league. They married on November 23, 1957. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother.
Mamie had a great sense of adventure, loved traveling, bowling, reading, listening to country music, watching her favorite golfer, Phil Mickelson and cheering on the Texas Rangers. Family and serving others is what made her happy. She entertained and served so many people by opening her home, volunteering and treating so many others as family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Preston Wisely; brother, Robert Shaw and sisters, Nina Menting and Anna Christopher.
Survivors: Daughter, Melissa Wisely; son, Jim Wisely (Brenda); grandchildren, Landon Wisely and Kristen Ortega (CJ); sister, Lois Bien; brother, Seth Shaw (Luella); sister-in-law, Betty Shaw; cousin, Earleene Fitzgerald and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, Nov. 20th - 3:00 pm
