Kristin Leann Pickett Smith
Kristin was born July 23, 1978 in Tyler, Texas to Terry Pickett and Luann Alexander Pickett. She graduated from Cayuga High School in 1996 and married Kevin Lynn Smith on July 4, 1998. On November 28, 2000 they welcomed the first of two perfect children, Alexandra Jolie Smith. Their son, William Jalen Smith, was born November 4, 2005. Kristin and Kevin settled and raised their children in Huntsville, Texas.
Kris had a wonderful personality and was especially gifted with comforting the elderly. She and her family were members of Northside Baptist Church in Huntsville. Kris loved her family fiercely and was a protector of all whom she loved. She will be missed dearly.
Kristin is preceded in death by her grandparents, WJ and Tommye Lee Pickett, and JT and Dora Jo Alexander; mother-in-law Gaylynn Smith.
Kristin is survived by her husband Kevin, children Jolie and Jalen, parents Terry and Luann Pickett of Huntsville, loving brothers Kerry Pickett of Waco and Kyle Pickett of Huntsville, sister Cierra Almazan of Nacogdoches, a niece and two nephews, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Honorary pallbearers are Kristin’s Uncles: Brent Smith, Shawn Thompson, Steve Alexander, Alan Hood, Bryant Reeves. Mike Sartain, Jim Sartain, Bob Sartain, and Les Woods.
