Norma Ruth Bush died on Wednesday, November 13, 2019, at a healthcare facility in Robertsdale, Alabama.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2019, at First Baptist Church in Marshall, with Rev. Wayne Doolin officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Kansas City, MO. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall.

Norma was born on July 26, 1923, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Herman and Opal Irene Vaughan Juelich. She grew up in Kansas City and graduated from Northeast High School and later received an associate degree from Southwest Baptist College in Bolivar, Missouri.

In 1943, Norma married Donn H. Bush and lived in Clinton, Butler and Marshall, Missouri, respectively. In addition to being a homemaker, she worked with her husband at their chicken hatcheries in both Clinton and Butler. Donn purchased Vogue Styles and the family moved to Marshall in 1965. Norma worked in the store until it was sold. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Marshall and for almost 50 years was involved in teaching Sunday school, helping with VBS and serving in the Women’s Missionary Union. She was also a volunteer for the Meals on Wheels program.

Norma is survived by one daughter, Donna Wilson (Dale Thomas) of Fairhope, Alabama; one son, Charles Bush of Independence, Missouri; grandchildren, Joseph Alfrey, Jason Alfrey, Rachel Bush, Courtney Bush Yates, Ciara Bush, Skyler Bush; great-grandchildren, Patrick Alfrey and Timothy Alfrey; and several nieces and nephews.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents; husband Donn; two sons, Harold Lee Bush and Scott Warner Bush; a sister, Mary Jane Lillig; and a brother, John Juelich.
