Peggy E. Crum, 80, of Green Springs, died Saturday, July 14, 2007, at Elmwood Inn Beautiful Assisted Living in Green Springs.
Peggy was born Dec. 10, 1926, in Reading, England, to the late Daniel and Nora (Smith) Lawlor. She married Rolland H. Crum Jr. in Reading, England, April 3, 1945, and he preceded her in death June 26, 1979.
Survivors include her children, Daniel (Susan) Crum of Fort Wayne, Ind., Teresa (Richard) Stauss of Lodi, Kevin (Linda) Crum of Republic, Barry (Leisa) Crum of Fremont and Brian (Laura) Crum of Indianapolis, Ind. Peggy had a brother, Michael Lawlor of Newbury, England, and two sisters, Iris Packer and Marion Davies, both of Reading, England. She also had nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Peggy retired from General Electric in Bucyrus after 20 years of service. She was a member of the Green Springs garden club and the Green Springs VFW ladies auxiliary.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Ronald James Crum; three brothers; and two sisters.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 18, 2007, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home in Green Springs.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2007, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Springs Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Green Springs garden club, Green Springs VFW ladies auxiliary or to the donor's choice.
