Pauline Dorothea Henry, 84, of South Windsor, beloved wife of the late Altamont Henry, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 8, 2019. Born in Jamaica to the late Ronald Bridgemahon and Martha Thompson, she has been a South Windsor resident for over 45 years and was a member of Wapping Community Church in South Windsor. Pauline worked as a nurse all her adult life and her caring nature shined in everything she did. She enjoyed knitting but her true passion was her family who will miss her dearly. Pauline is survived by her sons, Horace Henry and his wife Lorraine, Patrick Henry and his wife Alison; her daughters, Paula Archer and her husband Delroy, Denise Farquharson and Toni Henry-Clay; her grandchildren, Kurt, Deborah, Courtney, Kenisha, Danielle, Amber, Rachel and Alex; and several loving great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her grandson Sean Henry and several brothers and sisters. Her family will receive friends on Friday, November 22 from 6 PM to 9 PM at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Rd South Windsor. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Saturday, November 23 at Wapping Community Church, 1790 Ellington Rd South Windsor followed by burial in Wapping Cemetery, South Windsor.
