Katherine "Kay" G. White, age 105, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2019. She was born on December 5, 1913 to Louis and Alice (Lindeman) Neff in Atlantic, Iowa. On February 21, 1943 she married the love of her life, Warren Gardner White, II, and they spent 42 happy years together until his passing in July of 1985. Kay graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree. She used her degree in the war efforts working for GM. Upon Gardner finishing his residency they moved to the Muskegon area to grow their family. Kay was an active and faithful member of First Congregational Church in Muskegon and worked on many different committees to help the church grow. She volunteered with many local organizations and philanthropic endeavors in the Muskegon area. Kay is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Kim) Armstrong; daughter-in-law, Debora (Michael) White Hudson; grandchildren, Warren "Chip" G. White, IV, Alice White Thiel, Andrew Armstrong, Katie (Michael) Hilferty; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Warren Gardner White, II; their son Warren G. White, III; siblings, Howard, Lyle and Lucy. A FUNERAL SERVICE for Kay will take place on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at First Congregational Church (1201 Jefferson St.) at 11:00 AM with visitation taking place one hour prior to the service at church. For a more lasting memory, donations in Kay's name can be made to First Congregational Church
