Ann Marie Sheehan Anderson, 99 of Muldraugh, KY, died early morning of November 10, 2019, at Elizabethtown Nursing and Rehabilitation Home in Elizabethtown, KY. She was born August 14, 1920, in Mellette, SD, to Michael Arthur Richard and Ann Dora (Sherrard) Sheehan.
She married James Anderson in 1985 and he preceded her in death on March 1, 1998. Also preceding her in death were her parents and two previous husbands, Lynn Yardley and Cliff Southard.
Survivors include a daughter, Roberta "Bobbi" (Floyd) Blackard of Springfield, IL; daughter, Mary (Jim-deceased) Malone of Muldraugh, KY; and son, Richard (Rhonda) Yardley of Louisville, KY; 8 grandchildren – 1 in IL, 1 in CT, 1 in MO, and 5 in KY; and by several great and great, great grandchildren.
Ann had grown up in South Dakota, in the Oklahoma oil fields, and then later moved to southeast Missouri to be with family. She graduated from Winona High School in Winona, MO, in 1938. Ann was a housewife and then later worked for ATT, Globe Life Ins, and Monsanto. She was a member of Sweet Adelines, enjoyed clogging, square dancing, playing cards, and traveling.
There will be a memorial service on Friday, November 15, 2019, at 11:00 AM at Muldragh United Methodist Church in Muldraugh, KY.
